Focus, focus, focus

I started this blog years ago as a quilting and knitting blog, but I haven't been doing much knitting lately and I haven't been writing much about quilting. I think I need to find a focus for my blog, but so far I haven't settled on any one or two things. There are so many things that interest me and that I'm trying out these days. Doing more with art quilts and mixed media so maybe I'll try focusing on techniques and ideas in these realms. I also like talking about the flora and fauna around our property, though, so I'm sure I'll also throw some tidbits of that sort in too. I find them inspiring for the art quilts.

The latest issue of Cloth, Paper, Scissors arrived in the mail the other day. As I was reading it I found my name in one of the Questions articles. I had completely forgotten that I had emailed my answer to the question in. What a thrill! I got published one other time, in the Sunday paper in Hints From Heloise. That was exciting, too. My husband's boss discovered it and told him about it. That was fun.
